you're out of my bed, but still in my head,
thoughts around. just starting to mound.
i couldn't see, what was going to be,
that it would be over, with you & me.
left to go to work, so we'd keep our home,
then you decided, you needed to roam.
that this wasn't your home, or where you belong,
never knew i could have, been so wrong.
now here i am with two kids, to raise alone,
and you're now singing, to a different tone.
and i'm trying to find, where i should be,
now that it's over, with you & me.
i'll bounce back, i know that i will,
but for now, the pain is so real,
i keep waiting for the day, that i will heal.
