Meaningful Connection

In life there are times of stagnation
Periods of somber reflection
Joys, Sorrow and Pains
And in those times of doldrums past
I did not know a way beyond
It was lonesome, even lonely too
And through chance or fortune or God's good Grace
Someone showed
Someone unlike anyone I'd encountered
This person changed me
Or I changed with her
And I never would have known this possible

Without faith.
