Step by step down a jagged path,
Looking...
Searching...
Finding nothing.
No hope, no love, no peace of mind.
Discovering truth.
Revealing apathy, greed, and self-destruction.
Hoping for a cure,
Yet no hope exists.
Despair seeps within my shell,
Eating away at my soul.
My strength is overpowered by weakness.
My brilliance is outsmarted by stupidity.
My life is mourned by death.
There's nowhere to run.
