No Matter how I try to escape the melancholy,
it follows me like a shameful folly

It pulls me into it’s dark abyss,
Never a day should I miss

It scratches and pulls like a desperate cat,
Mewling and growling as it settles onto my hat

Oh, sweet melancholy, here we go once more,
Only this time I will emerge out of your dark door.
