Melt

I want to be melting,
l want to be the wax that pools around your wick,
feel the heat liquify me,
igniting me,
burning you,
yet you survive,
with hunger
thrive,
feeding the flame,
keeping the flame alive,
I want to watch the glow,
the ember glow of us meshing,
working towards one goal,
to feel whole,
lighting our own way,
I want to melt around you,
become soft with the heat of flesh,
mold me into the shape,
you desire best,
and when a hungry wind blows,
I want to watch the flame flicker on the wall,
and feel it cool my melted love,
as it hardens around you
encompassing you,
until,
your my center,
we are one.
