Look out of my window,
wondering where you are,
if you're smiling like me,
of thoughts of how it was.
I know it's been a long time,
since we walked hand in hand,
but the memories come and go,
flickering like a candle almost out.
You came across my path,
and lingered for awhile,
long enough for me to fall,
and take a part of my heart.
