I look into the pool so clear
And stare at the flames entranced
Your words wash over me once more
And remind me of our dance

Do you still hear my dreams at night
So lightly you now travel
Around the corners of my mind
The threads slowly unravel

Pick up things and put them away
Then feel the pull inside
Look to the night and feel you there
God how I want that ride

I step to the window and stare
At the reflection of you and me
I give a gasp and touch the glass
And wish for what should not be

The night, it calls, it always has
Since I found you there
To touch your lips to taste your wine
To know that you still care

Step through the pane into your arms
Caressed by the night
Tilt back my head and feel your bite
As you consume tonight
