Ah devastation! Banished from your side,
Memories are all that remain of our love,
And I am left like a child in the rain
Cold and alone, peering through misted panes,
Craving a glimpse of the light and life within,
Longing for the warmth of love, but all in vain.
Forgotten now is the laughter in your voice,
The touch of your hand, the image of your face,
The swell of your soft breasts beneath your blouse,
Warm and tender beneath my questing touch.
And below the gentle curve of your belly
There lay that enchanted forest, warm and dark,
Where so many nights I used to wander
Seeking that spring, to drink whose deep waters,
Heady with the scent of your divine essence,
Flooded my senses with intoxicating bliss.
At last to plunge deep into the hidden heart
And pluck those blooms whose exquisite petals
Would quiver and swell in consummated joy
Spreading in ecstasy to receive my seed.
