She sauntered into my life and my bed.

We established a deep bond.

She had a volatile, mercury temper.

Sex was great, we screwed a lot
With a borderline, insatiable sex drive.

Sex was the highlight for our slow days
We spend much of our time wearing nothing
Or less than nothing in my shacky unit.

She was an expendable muse for me
Decorating my solitary life
With her voluptuous body.

I was looking for a spectacular literary career
But I became frustrated with rejection slips
For my stashed-away, unpublished poems.

Maybe sex is as bad for failed writers as it is
For football players the night before a game.

So,we were slowly cracking up.

There was nothing to ponder though
Like everybody else
She was seeking happiness and stability
In this stromy World.

Just wanted to say that the title and first line of the poem kick butt.
