The cutest
of three kittens

absconds with a thumb
stolen from the human salad

outside a burning mosque, while
above the clouds and smoke

a circling insensate drone silently
watches over her.

Just to say.....

.....I was here and voted, also to add I think the tear drop format is well chosen. Nicely done.

Certainly relevant with all the suicide bombings we see on the news. While brevity is wit, I sensed there was more you might have added.

Very good! I read this over many times, getting a slightly different feel each time. I see it as relating to the Middle East right now, but maybe not? If it does, why midsummer? I like the imagery. As poetry, it is a beautiful piece!
