have you ever
ridden in the
back of a bike
cab and shared
a mint

a single mint
with shared
tongues

looking out
over the city
with the bay
reflecting
every lightsource
available

the stars shining
the lights of the
city, bright

and there are
two sets of lips
caressing each
other, soft

arms entwined
while another man
pedals you around

and you can only
think

this kiss
is all that
exists to me
right now

this gentle
softness

and the taste
of this mint

that we share

like souls
