In my world the wind blows backward
and you can not cast shadows in darkness
Gravity claims your tears, as your childlike dreams
turn into reality nightmares
Cold does not describe the numbness of isolation
To know all is to know yourself
better than you see yourself
Vicious lies are nothing but echos of weakness,
screaming the insecurity of life’s truths
Where will you stand in my world

The silence will bruise your soul
and devour you conscience
Smothering guilt will send you
gasping for resolution
Where beauty is only a scab,
true evidence of a wound

How will you live in my world you ask
You won’t
Because much like the wind, love too is backward
