I wear your ring . I drive your truck. I sit on your couch. I feel your touch. The toys we shared. The times we had.. The stories had. The physical death of a physical touch. To smell the scent of lavender or patchouli. A smile gone by. A glimmer in the eye... A nod of knowing.... that you are loved .. unconditionally. no matter what.....gone forever.... shut out for eternity.. till death do us part .. not needed to be.. for parting has come while breath is still and life is lived for what will be will be.. I smile from memories of you surface in my mind and nod to myself of the love we once shared... knowing well that there will be times of memories passed of me in your mind and smiles for when the time was kinder to us both.

You may be gone but not forgotten...
