I dreamt of you last night.
I dreamt we were back in that moment,
The one we never got.
My fingers in your hair,
Your lips on mine,
Your warm breath soothing my face.
You smelled sweet,
Vanilla.
Like every curve was kissed with a perfume meant only for me.
Your hands,
Were Soft and elegant,
Fitting flawlessly in mine.
But your eyes,
I will always be prisoner to those eyes.
Their evanescence pierced my heart as I woke.
I reached out for you,
My heart urging me towards your touch.
But you were not there,
Then I remembered.
