Lying here all alone,
just me in this big lonely home;
Thinking of days long gone,
and where it all went wrong.

It's two in the morning,
and all I can feel is my heart yearning;
But now you've been gone so long,
and I don't know if I can go on.

With you I had hopes and dreams,
how long ago it all now seems;
Lying in this big lonely bed,
trying to escape my bad dreams.

Life is hard and this I knew,
now looking back through time with perfect view;
This is not what I had planned,
but what can I do?
I'm still in love with you.
