My Darling,

I'm sitting here missing you so much

I left you, only moments ago

After we part, your kiss lingers on my lips

The taste of you warms my soul

Remembering the trail of your fingers against my skin, causes an electric heat throughout

Vivid images of the nights we spent together are re enacted in my mind

They overtake my thoughts

Startled, coming back to the harsh reality of not being next to you

Dreaming about one day having you every night

Waking next to you every morning

To see every smile

Hear every laugh

Dry any tears

Heal any pain

Hold you close long enough to always feel our hearts beating in synch

As if our bodies were blending together

The day when I will no longer be missing you
