I woke up this morning to the touch of her hair and caressing the back of my neck
a struggle to open my eyes in the dawn but there’s so much i haven’t seen yet
that sleepy smile under baby blue eyes and the blush on her cheeks when i sigh
surely still dreaming i stir in the sheets til the morning suns blinding my eyes
almost seeing her there in the blurry dew glow in a fashion of delicate lace
watching me there as i wake through the pane and enjoying the look on my face
i scratch my head roughly and crawl out of bed after burning that midnight oil
so hard to awake when u stay up so late...but i guess she’s just got me too spoiled
blushing i rise and get dressed for the day looking forward to one more twilight
didn’t get enough sleep but im dying to keep that beautiful mist in my eyes . .
