MOCHA

Haven’t seen her in about fifteen years,

And not a day goes by where I don’t think I’ll see her one of these days.

At the grocery store or the mall.

Or at the ballgame.

Hey it’s great to see you and all of that.

But it’s never happen,

And perhaps it never will.

***** ***** *****
We had a professional relationship.

This I got to admit.

But there were no complaints on my part and I got to admit I was pretty selfish.

I wanted my needs satisfied and that’s what happen.

She satisfied my needs and I paid for her services.

But still I think about her,

As if the professional relationship was just a façade.

As if it was hiding something deeper.

As if it was hiding something meaningful.
