She smiles at me
She knows what I want
But she'll never give it to me

She hears me speak
She turns, smiles and talks
'I don't have any left'

She watches me grovel and beg
She pats me on the head
and walks away

I run and catch her
I refuse to give up
being my own master

I talk really fast
I grab her hand
and she touches back

I hold her in my arms
I tell her all my dreams
or so it seems

She wrenches herself free
I say it was meant to be
She mockingly calls me.......
