Moments of Passion

There was a light at the end of the tunnel you see
For moments of passion stolen amidst the trees

Once I did think you could not be true
But there you were standing proud and nude

You opened your arms wide and beckoned me
And without trepidation I moved closer to see

My body betrayed me as I began to burn
Feelings of desire made my soul yearn

But once I felt your hands begin to roam
I heard my own voice become louder and moan

The trees did shield us from wandering eyes
But carried the sounds of my contended sighs

Sometime later I awoke with a start
It was then I realized that it was now dark

You were no where to be found
As I quickly looked around

Then I felt your arms around me again
And you whispered softly, We have all night to spend.
