they want your money and everything else
monsters in your indoor garage
stare at you from inside the walls
monsters in other cars on the street
monsters up in trees
monsters under the streets

monsters in your garbage
most of them unrecyclable
a monster stares up from your frying egg
a monster in a picture in the newspaper

walk up the stairs
