You open my eyes...like toothpicks piercing into the inner flesh of their lids
Not sure what you're trying to show me...
but I am quite sure it is directly in front of me, staring me down.
This invisible monster encumbers me within the thick tension of its air.
...But what is this really?
Nothing but space
A void we masterfully created
A blank canvas
Tears in the rain
A ghost from the past
We have created nothing here...
maybe Buddha would have been proud.
What am I supposed to be fucking examining?
There is simply nothing in this space you wedged between us.
Who knows.....
maybe that bitter monster is more malicious in the space that you perceive.
