I woke you up…with a soft kiss on your lips,
The moonlight still played on our pillow
Raven hair reflects its light and cast your eyes in its shadow
I feel your breath, warm on my neck.
Slide your hands up… hold my face close to yours…
Press your body against mine, if only for a moment.
The night is getting old, Orion the hunter fades to the west
All too soon the sun will rise, to light the sky
The starting gun of yet another busy, preoccupying day
For now we lie together in the calm waters of the night
Passions awake, with the silver moonlight to guide our bodies.
