The moonlight streams through the window and caresses your sleeping body.
You are on your side with your back to me, your hip is sensually outlined in the moonlight.
My fingers gently trace that outline and I nibble your shoulder, I cannot resist your perfect skin.

You begin to stir, but not wanting you awake yet, I wrap my arms around you and cuddle you.
You push back against my body seeking my warmth, and you settle back into a restful sleep.

The perfect end to a perfect day. We laughed, kissed, talked, cuddled, and made love all day.
Holding you in the moonlight transcends time and place.
All is right in the world, there is complete peace.

The day went by in an instant, it feels like moments ago that I first greeted you with a kiss.
But since then, the sun's rays have relentlessly marched across our room to be replaced,
first by the shadows of twilight and then ultimately by the glow of moonlight.
Your intoxicating beauty always renders me speechless.
But the moonlight adds a mystical hue to your flawless skin that is irresistible.
It takes all my strength not to succumb and take you again.
But I resist, hold you close, and recall every delicious detail of our day.
What resonates most deeply in me is not the many times we made love, but our connection.
There is nothing better than lying next to you, laughing, talking, and learning all about you.

As I return to the moment, again, I see the moonlight softly caressing your skin.
This time, I cannot resist, I kiss your neck, shoulders and stroke your hip with more earnest.
You turn to me and I see your eyes reflect in the moonlight.
There is desire in your eyes, and I rejoice that the day is not over yet.
