Cloaked in darkness She watches
As Moonbeams dance like tiny sails across the water
The cool ocean breeze wraps around her
filling her with thoughts of far away places,
deserted islands and burning sand
where stolen moments a lifetime make
She feels his presence as he joins her there
The stars & moon the only witness to their embrace
The beat of his heart against her, calling, seducing.
Matching her own as he folds his arms around her.
His hands caress the curve of a hip,
the swell of a breast, sweet pulse at her throat.
Soft lips stroke the flame higher as fingers brush heaven's door
Until with hands made rough with desire he turns her, Lifts her
and with one swift thrust he claims his prize as warriors of old.
In a voice hoarse with need a battle cry torn from deep within
To sound his Victory and his Fall
As hearts and bodies race to challenge the flames
forged and tempered into one mind, one body, one soul
