When I fall asleep at night,
the only thing that takes me there
is the thought of your arms around me.

I watch you next to me, silently dreaming
calling out every so often...
I love that you talk in your sleep.

I nestle my head on your body
feeling cradled, loved, warm, safe-
but you know just where to touch,
and it keeps me wide awake
riveted
and waiting
to see what happens next.

There is no doubt what I have on my mind
but you are harder to read.
I certainly wouldn't mind
helping you make your decision.

Lightly biting your shoulderblade
is an invitation for more.
And gladly, you except.

I never knew the power of a kiss,
until you kissed me,
and I felt it down to my toes.

Your hands, so strong and capable
dance over my skin, as my senses ignite.
Everything is bathed in moonlight,
our shadows mingle, becoming one.

My hands grope,
reaching
for what I know they will find.

And slowly, I let you in.

Time seems to stop-
the only music in the night
is the sound of flesh on flesh
the percussion of breathing
rhythymic, urgent, yearning for more.
You kiss me again, meanwhile,
I lose myself in you...

When it's time to rest, we hold each other close.
Glowing with sweat,
breeze through the open window,
dancing with the curtains.

Once again, it's time for sleep,
you stroke my hair, already drifting away.
I savor the moonlight, and the smell of your hair.

Sleep comes finally,
and I dream,
of you,
and only you.
