The morning mist
makes architecture of the
sunlight through the trees.
The golden columns urge me to pull
over and touch them ,
dance within the slanting bars
of the visible invisible.
It's like a sort of magic,
natures slight of hand-
now you see it
now you don't.
A bit of natural whimsy
reminding me of the beauty
in the everyday,
if you take the time to look.
No time to stop and indulge,
but I will carry the image with me
like fairy dust in my eyes.
