I want to wake,
to feel the fire neath the covers,
startled by the sun through a window,
with branches shadowed across your fur,
and I trace them, down through the depths
of the blankets

In a natural state,
with those cute sounds
that you murmur half asleep,
colored with the music
of suggestion

You are soft as cotton,
and I would love to tangle with you
and kiss you from behind,
to velcro our lips
with just enough eye contact
to scream "I want you"

and the quilt will shy away,
revealing my favorite parts of you,
from the cutest freckle,
to crease in your back,
and I will kiss those first
and kiss those the hardest

because I safe the softest
for the parts that will ignite you
I want to take you in.
You are sweeter than sap,
thicker, too,
and I would taste you for days.

When it gets too much,
do not hold back,
dig your nails into my face,
twist the sheets,
buck your legs,
and scream to me,
I want to paint us snow white
to ensure we are pure,
and these are the purest moments
I will ever know
