I am liquid, I am pliable
I am trusting and reliable
My love for you, undeniable
My passion is great

I touch your skin, in bliss
My hands, they tremble at this
And thoughts of your sweet kiss
A hunger I cannot sate

Your words, they consume me
Overwhelming, they doom me
To endless nights of writing free
Forcing thoughts to separate

And this weave, this mosaic
It’s pattern primal, archaic
It is simple and prosaic
Yet it holds me like fate

Those words that you let
Slip in passion, I’ll not forget
Unguarded promises, and regret
The memories that I consecrate
