Mother, do you remember me?
I am your daughter, your only daughter
The one who you neglect
The one you wanted to terminate
Well I am here
Whether you like it or not
You always doubted my being
My aspirations
I am better than you
My spirit will not be broken
You cannot defeat me
You still try
But my guard is up Mother
Never again will you hurt me
I just wished you loved me

defiance.

If concerns be written on your brow ~ let them not take hold in the heart ~ the spirit should remain free.

Kiss...

and make up... or pay the price and get out.

You can't demand to be loved by your mother. It would be nice but life is not like that all the time.

Nice ~ that ending implies a hurt that will always be carried despite strengths currently held.
