Mother's Day

You kicked her from the inside out.
You sucked her tits until they bled.
Then when you got your first tooth you bite them.
You peed on her.
You pooed on her.
And through it all...she loved you.

She could not wait for you to speak
But the moment you said Mama, it never stopped.
Mama...I want this.
Mama...I need that.
Mama...Mama...Mama!
And through it all...she loved you.

From the moment you started to crawl
It was always to run from her.
Your first steps were into her arms
But then you turned and fled.
Further, faster and away.
And through it all...she loved you.

Now today
It is you she needs.
Your love.
Your time.
Just you.
Because through it all...she loves you still.
