The cats are eating my supper
Linguine with lemon butter
Just another fancy name for
Spaghetti with margerine but
at least the lemon was real.

I'm looking around my home
Which I will soon pack up
Emotions come flooding in
From tears, to joy, and beautiful
love,

These I shall miss, my comfort
my very place, thats safe, contented with the
Feeling one gets from making a home.
But I also look forward to the unknown,
The new apartment, so stark and bare
I hope and soon may realise another
space with beauty, friends, love, and
mixed with a train load of emotion

Oh to feel all
It will that small place in the
Enormous universe that I will feel safe
Whether alone, or just the sweet
memories of the years I can
start to embrace.
