You are no longer a part of me
You have suddenly turned to dust
Blown away in an unnoticed breeze
Spread amongst the weeds and rocks
That sits uselessly scattered
Spit upon, kicked, trampled
You are no longer a part of me
Removed from my being
Torn from my heart
Scraped from my tortured soul
You are but a whisper in the dark
Heard only by yellow-eyed alley cats
That hiss and spit in your direction
You are dust that turns to stone
Buried by layers of yesterday
No longer a part of me
Because I am moving on.

Love this one!

It has a few cliches you could lose and if you shaped it more, I think it would come across more strongly, but excellent images. Recommended in today's New Poems reviews.
