King Ails
No one weeps
Save wife and child
a mother and father.

Courtesans wipe tears
not for King
but for selves
lose as they must, power.

Noblemen send
letters to Bishops
seeking advice on how
to change sides respectably.

Jester grins
His prophecy come true
of courtesans and noblemen
that will defect.
