paralyzed
by a pair of lies
omission and commission
an admission of naught
knot now
ties unbound
not yet
in time to realize
the real lies bound
to what applies
when a word implies
that the heart relies
on a pair of lies
paralyzed

Interesting

When it hurts so much, all you can do is laugh and play with words.

Perfection

There is a beauty and an art to expression with few words. This is how I view poetry. You are an artist.

Wonderfully done.

Fun

Such fun word play with such a not-so-fun subject. Ah juxtaposition...

~~

Only the incomparable Alessia Brio could have pulled off such a fun word play piece without it coming across as a collection of words trivialized.

Clever Wordplay

I enjoyed the way you played with words, "knot, not, naught." The rhythm of the poem and play on words reflects the jumbled emotions one feels when one discovers a lie. Very clever, well done.
