I know two poets with disfigured noses
Dante and Cyrano
One was a swashbuckler, other was an alchemist.

These two guys with deep lores
Took the hard way, the over hyped theme of romance
Putted their all stakes on one woman
And turned their muses into unattainable dreams.

If we bring that classic, larger than life stories
To an anachronistic setting
We can contemplate on
Practical usage of large and disfigured noses.

For example
They can be fantastic sex toys
Giving pleasure to their lovers
Instead of pain and misery.

But these romantic and impractical guys
Never used this option.
Though their works became a literary landmark
They died as virgins.

Their muses had similiar ends
Roxanne became a nun,
Beatrice died at a young age.

And nobody got laid at the end.
