My Alarm Clocks

Mike and Sugar,
Two peas in a pod.
While one is asleep,
The other one nods.

They run around,
And create such a bother.
He wants to mate,
But she wants to mother.

While we walk in the park,
They bark and they wine.
They make sure I wake up,
Every morning at nine.

So pick up a kitten,
Or a cute little puppy.
They’re guaranteed to make,
You’re mornings more sunny.

But then of coarse,
One morning you’ll find.
Your kitchen floor covered,
In puppy land mines!

Sugar & Mike
