Friends we are, always will be
In time all what I carry will kill Me
You did what ya could in life, you played ya Role
In time I'll join you, when things take its toll
Patience, you always tried to Teach
My hands were always out there to Reach
A personality that always shined, will always glisten
Anything I had to say, your ears would always listen
You helped Me walk with My head held high
I'll think of you when I see the Stars in the Sky
And yes I'll always ask that one question, "Why!?"
I felt as if I let ya down, I felt as if I told a lie
If I could, I would take it back and speak if I had another try
Maybe not now, but someday, yes I'll mourn, Tears I'll Cry
Life isn't a video game, no resets, no continue
No options, no cheats, not even a Menu
One life, so precious, colorful, Light, White, Dark, Black then Grey
I must now live with this, and these words I had to say
I Apologize, please accept My Apology
If you're upset, it's ok, it's Your Right to be upset with Me
One thing I hate is when one reaches Their End
It hurts more when it's Your Family or a Great Friend.
