My body my cup
filled with swirling emotions
frothed with the cream of labour.
How will I hold you too?

I sip from your blue glazed lip
a quiet soothing melodious song
parting my tumultuous thoughts with tenderness.
Will you wait with me?

Holding my needs,
my deepest desires, my happiness
contained within your aligned contours.
Will you hold me forever?

How will I retain my thoughts
my feelings, if you leave me?
Will the ravages of time
erode your chaliced beauty?

What will come of me?

My Body My Cup

I'd like to hear this set to music.

My body my cup

Just the right amount of alliteration to make the poem low gracefully,

and a pleasing selection of words.

You might want to rethink "ravages of time".

That phrase is pretty ravaged itself.
