My Butch

My Butch

"Why?" they ask
"What do you see in her?"
I watch with bated breath
As you cross the room
Unaware that you hold me

I see the short spikes
Of the finest hair
I've ever felt, the
Dark brown pools that
So often fill with

Jeans a little to big
Held up with the belt
That we picked together
A wife beater from
A three pack in

Strong arms that lift me
With such ease, such care
And beneath, lean muscle
Hidden from the world

What do I see in you?
My life, my world
A thousand whispered secrets
Ten thousand kisses
