It rests inside a black box
the silver chain that binds our lives.

Light dances over the links, my finger caresses the undeniable symbol of your ownership.

You stroke my neck, I close my eyes and surrender to your touch. You lift my collar and place it cold against my skin.

Your able fingers fasten the clasp tight against my throat, my fate is sealed your dominance defined.

It feels heavy like my responsibility. With each attempt to swallow I am reminded that I have no will without you, no desire but to please you.

This chain not only around my neck but encircling my heart makes me strong. This silver binding holds a promise we make to each other.

It lets me know I am safe I am loved I am yours
