I sat alone with my conscience
In a place where time had stopped
And me myself and I talked of former lives
In a world where years increased
As I felt I should have answered
The questions it put to me
To face the answers and questions of eternity

The demons of forgotten actions
Came floating before my eyes
And the things I thought were dead
Were alive with terrible fright
And thee vision of my past life
Was an awful thing to face?
Alone with my conscience sitting in that silent place
