Isolated in a dark and lifeless house,
Emotions will soon start to peak.
Feelings of miserable despair,
Constructing a world so bleak,
How many dejected cracks,
Penetrate my heart and soul?
It is time to shovel
Myself a six-foot hole.
Silence broken distinctly,
By my ticking heartbeat,
Booming through my skull,
Subsiding only briefly to greet,
The screams of regret,
I need this all to cease,
This taunting painful life,
That is looking for release.
I prepare myself the poison,
No longer can I cry,
Its sweet taste comforting,
As I prepare so long goodbye.
