This was to be my first tasty tongue kiss
and hopefully nothin' would go amiss
(my first childhood exploration that would
vtake me beyond regular playground bliss)
This was our first time swappin' saliva
  i.e. twistin' tongues
as we called it back then
What was good, is we were both 10
All knobby kneed and wide eyed
lookin' to get our tongues tied
Unknowingly using our muladhara chakra
  as our inner guide
For our first bliss ride
That would hopefully be soooo good
that we would want to do it again
While leavin' us with an inner smile and an outer grin

His older brother and friends were our spectators
There to give us moral support and kissing tips
So that we wouldn't bite each other's cheeks or lips
We heard them question aloud, will they
  give good french kiss
I bet not, I bet yes, I bet not, I bet yes
(wait and see, we said is better than a guess)

Well we finally locked lips
Not comin' up for a few minutes
We were good, it was good
tongue kissing was pure soul food
That seemed could be a cure for any foul mood
We even kissed a little better than some
of the "older kids", who supposedly had
been around the block a few times
Which to me had no reason or rhyme
While leaving me wondering if their experience was true
Or were their privates still like ours, all shiny and new

We locked lips again
Only comin' up for air now and then
Each time counting one to ten
I loved it, he loved it
I wanted to do it more, more and more
For it was a new addiction born
A new addiction stronger than the sugar candy
  at the local convenient store
All sweet at the edges and wet at the core
Which made me think, tasty tongue kisses
  are the best bet
That a new boy and girl meeting can get
