I once had a flower,
so sweet and soft.
Never a flower so fair,
I tended to it and took care.

As I watched the blossom
I was happy by it's beauty.
I was so content,
For what to me it meant.

I no longer gave it water
No longer gave it food,
but, I still had it's beauty
I did not see it dying.

What would my garden be like
without my flower of life?
For in it's beauty I found strength,
In it's fragrance I found happiness.

My garden would be empty
No beauty, no strength,
no fragrance, no happiness.
Just bare ground to soak up my tears.

I don't want to lose my flower.
I want my garden.
I want the beauty and fragrance.
I want to water and feed my flower.

I love my flower with all my heart.
