My Friend
My friend accepts me, for who I am,
Is willing to help when in a jam.
A bond of trust built over the years,
My friend is there through laughter and tears.
I don’t choose my words when with my friend,
My friend knows my meaning to amend
My words. If all my time I could spend,
I’d spend every minute with my friend.
