A community of individuals in an utter state of confusion,
Through their eyes, society has transformed into a nightmarish delusion.
So here I sit, observing my friends deep-fry their brains,
So many ideas swirling amidst, only to be restricted by their own shackles and chains.

Wandering…
Roaming the vast circuits of their own mind,

Should’ve, could’ve, Would’ve…
Long-term memory stuck in rewind,

They try to mask themselves from this world,
Try to hide their deep-seeded disposition,
Yet every thought runs in circles,
And still they try to hide from their own affliction.

Acid trips…
     And bong rips,
Poker chips…
     An adulterers lips…

No willpower…
         Focused on temptation…
Living their lives to the fullest…
     Giving in to desperation…
