She gathers each strand one by one
Pulling them taut atop her head
Adding decorations just so

A soft sponge is dipped in white paint
Which she drags across her young face
Red lips on pale skin is beauty

Oh, who are you my Geisha girl?
A close friend for me to cherish?
An entertainer for my friends?
A lover for me to lie with?
The perfect feminine model?
No one needs know but you and me.
