Sometimes at night my heart cries
I hear the sobs inside my headSometimes at night my heart cries

where your voice use to whisper
I feel the shaking in my soul
where your love once filled me
I taste the tears on my lips
where your kisses touched me.
Sometimes at night my heart cries
I tell myself you'll be back
where you belong lying next to me
I wait for your call that never comes
hoping the next ring will be you
I listen for your knock at the door
praying that you'll be standing there
Sometimes at night my heart cries
I know that you'll never be mine again
you made that plain the day you left
I think of all the words you spoke to me
broken promises, love undying and eternal
I build my walls back higher and thicker
fear and depression my only company
Sometimes at night my heart cries
I will never let someone hurt me again
the healing is just to costly to me
I don't want to be alone in life
no one to share with is the worst.
I only hope that one day you will know how
sometimes at night my heart cries for you.
