Sometimes
the cries of those
who died in pain
come to me,
remembering
a bunch of flowers
and one wrapped flag
around a stone.

Many are
our heroes, but many
are those who are
just by themselves,
suffering
the pain from evil
and the feel of life
flowing away.

All days
my heroes live,
with a sad smile
upon their lips,
knowing
it is the last one
and a veil of tears
will cover them.

Where are
the nicest thoughts
in those kids’ eyes
now blured,
appearing
like the shadow
of a forgotten love,
lost or denied.

I feel
my heroes cries
and they are mine
all days so high,
searching
an easier way
in this narrow path
that leads to death.
